It is a 2NO (2 normally open) contact module within the Siemens SIRIUS ACT 3SU1 series. It mounts behind a 22 mm pushbutton, selector switch, or pilot light actuator to provide electrical switching contacts for industrial control panels.
2NO means two normally open contacts. In the resting state the circuit is open; when the button is pressed the contacts close, allowing current to flow. There are no NC (normally closed) or changeover contacts in this module.
The cage-clamp (spring-loaded) terminals accept 0.25–1.5 mm² solid wire, 0.25–0.75 mm² ferruled wire, or AWG 24–16. No screwdriver is required — simply push the wire in.
Both are 2NO contact modules in the same series. The difference lies in the terminal type and internal coding — always verify the full part number against your bill of materials or existing panel drawings before ordering.
−25 °C to +70 °C during operation; −40 °C to +80 °C for storage. Suitable for most industrial indoor environments.
