Product Description
The AB 1756-A10 is a ten-slot ControlLogix chassis that provides electronic connectivity among ControlLogix modules. It features a maximum backplane current rating of 1.5 A @ 1.2VDC, 4A/4A @ 3.3 VDC, and 2.8 A/2.8 A @ 24VDC.
This chassis supports panel mounting with installation clearances of 15.3 cm (6.0 in.) for top and bottom clearance and 10.2 cm (4.0 in.) plus the width of the power supply for side clearance. When installed side by side with another ControlLogix chassis, the required clearance between chassis is 7.7 cm (3.0 in.) plus the width of the power supply.
The 1756-A10 is available in two series: B and C. Series B has an operating temperature range of 0-60°C (32-140°F), while Series C operates from -25 to +60°C (-13 to +140°F). Both series have a maximum surrounding air temperature of 60°C (140°F).
The chassis includes both Functional Earth Ground (terminated with 8.3 sq. mm or 8 AWG copper wire) and Protective Earth Ground (terminated with 2.1 sq. mm or 14 AWG copper wire), both with insulation ratings of 90°C (194°F) or higher.
