The AB 1756-L72 is a ControlLogix Series Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) with 4 MB user memory for data and logic and 0.98 MB I/O memory. The controller includes a 1 GB SD card (1784-SD1) for optional nonvolatile memory storage, upgradable to 2 GB via the 1784-SD2 card.
Important: Only use Rockwell Automation SD cards as they are fully tested with the controllers. Other cards may cause data loss or corruption. The SD cards primarily store diagnostic data for troubleshooting purposes.

The 1756-L72 can be used with specific modules to create an Armor ControlLogix controller and supports controller redundancy when paired with a similar controller on the same ControlNet network.
